Located in the heart of Brooklyn, NeuopsyBrooklyn is a premier private practice specializing in evaluation and consultation services for individuals across all age groups. With a focus on addressing a wide spectrum of concerns from neuropsychiatric issues to traumatic brain injuries, our team places a particular emphasis on neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities. In addition to our work with younger clients, we extend our services to adults seeking evaluations for conditions like autism, ADHD, traumatic brain injuries, and cognitive impairments.

Meet Dr. Joh

With 23 years of experience and board certification in school neuropsychology, I specialize in neuropsychological assessment for children, adolescents, and adults who are navigating a broad spectrum of cognitive, emotional, and behavioral challenges. My practice is dedicated to providing thorough and individualized evaluations that clarify complex diagnoses and guide evidence-based treatment planning and recommendations.

My areas of expertise encompass high-stakes testing and college accommodations, including the assessment and documentation required for standardized testing and postsecondary educational support. I have extensive experience evaluating and diagnosing Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), learning disorders such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Intellectual Disability. In addition, I offer specialized immigration psychological evaluations, providing objective and professional documentation of psychological symptoms as they relate to immigration proceedings. Each assessment is tailored to the unique needs of the individual, ensuring that strengths and areas of difficulty are accurately identified.

I am professional member of: National Academy of Neuropsychology, American Academy of Pediatric Neuropsychology,  International Neuropsychological Society, New York State Association of Neuropsychology, Asian Neuropsychological Association.​
